I want to take the time to write a special note of thanks to the students of Longwood University and Hampton-Sydney College. These students have shown up to volunteer in large numbers all week. The ones that have been lucky enough to work on site were very efficient and enthusiastic. And just as important, the ones that stood at volunteer check-in for hours without luck were great company and kept things positive and exciting.
A special thanks to the Eckert's of Midtown Mailboxes in Farmville for coming out at 11:00 last night and opening their store. They made 1000 copies for us. All donated! Now that's community support at its greatest!

Your work is beautiful! That house is absolutely gorgeous. All you volunteers and professionals did an outstanding job. I was there Thursday and then again on Sunday and I have to say what an amazing process it is to watch the super-fast construction process. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication.
PS-Are you not allowed to put pics in the gallery of Ty and all the others? Legalities, I guess. I met Paul on Sunday and he was very nice.

Rhonda! It was such a pleasure to meet you today! I was glad to spend a few hours volunteering-and am VERY thankful for ALL the hard work you and your team have put in on this project. The Lucas family is BLESSED to have such good, hardworking people building them not a house, but a HOME.
