Keep up-to-date with the LATEST news and developments from the project site.

Day two already...
Even though construction on the actual home hasn’t started, there are already so many people on the site working incredibly hard. I have never seen such hard workers with such big smiles. There is such an incredible energy on the job site.

I want to thank Spea’s Excavating for doing some really heavy site clearing and earth moving today. Those guys are the best at what they do.

Also, thanks to Pepsi Co of Lynchburg for coming out to supply us with Aquafina and sodas for the entire week! And our Farmville Sheetz is keeping the Pepsi cold by bringing out ice all week.

I am just so thrilled and thankful that so much good is being done in the world.  I have been following the updates everyday, wishing I could be there, and I want to thank everyone involved in the many months of preparation to get to this amazing result of giving this very special Christmas gift!

What time will they "move that bus" on Monday?  I want to take time off from work to be there.  I hope to stop by tonight and help out.  My husband was framing the home yesterday.  He said there were lots of friendly & hard working people on site.  Keep up the good work!  Merry Christmas!

I am Jean's aunt and I cannot WAIT until Sunday when I can come down and help with the finishing touches and clean-up. Shoot, I can push a rake, a broom or a mop with the best of them. It's an honor to do something SO right for 2 so deserving people!! Way to go guys.

Dear Rachel,

I was there as a volunteer early this morning. Five of us hitched a ride with Rachel to the serving tent and the five of us served the other Rachel. We had the pleasure of meeting two Rachels who happen to be extremely nice!

God Bless!

I used to live in Buckingham Co VA before going to college at the Art Institute of Washington in Arlington (Ty Pennington went to Ai of Atlanta).  I love EM: Home Edition and the kind of hard work that Ty and the gang bring and their appreciation of good folks that are in a bad spot. That is the kind of attitude everybody should have.  Keep up the good work everybody and have a Merry upcoming Christmas. God bless.
